ELGL Board of Directors Application

ELGL is now accepting applications for the Board of Directors.

Any current ELGL member in good standing is welcome to apply. Board members serve a 3-year term, and successful applicants will serve from July 2025 through June 2028.

ELGL, short for Engaging Local Government Leaders, is a volunteer-run, membership-based nonprofit organization with a mission to engage the brightest minds in local government. As a volunteer-run organization, the minimum time commitment for a board member is 5 to 8 hours per week, plus board and committee meetings. The board meets virtually twice each month during regular business hours.

ELGL is especially interested in recruiting board members with the following skill sets:

Communications and social media
Event planning
Fundraising and financial planning
Financial technology
