Do you have a knead to succeed? Sign up for the 2024 ELGL Analyst Academy where you can layer your knowledge one bite at a time. This training will focus on helping emerging- and early to mid-career local government analysts who want to develop or refresh key skills and collaborate and network with similar local government colleagues. This year’s training will culminate in  a special opportunity to network with deputy and assistant city managers as this professional development training event will be held in conjunction with the 2024 ICMA Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.  And since we’re in the ‘Burgh, in true ELGL fashion, this training celebrates the joy in local government by giving a nod to the Primanti Bros. sandwich, a Pittsburgh staple! We are on a roll with our sandwich puns so invest in your professional development and you will be a slice above (wink!)

About the ELGL Analyst Academy Training Program

Local governments employ talented people at the "analyst" level - across all departments and job functions. While this group is responsible for budget, data analysis, personnel planning, process improvement, change management, innovation, and more, it's a group that can be left behind in the legacy of local government associations. ELGL recognizes the critical role analyst positions play in local government and the ELGL Analyst Academy provides a uniquely curated space to connect and educate early to mid-career local government analyst professionals. This training is offered periodically and have been held in sites around the country.
